Maryland Health Occupations Section 14-5B-13

      Unless the Board agrees to accept the surrender of a certificate, a certified radiation oncology/therapy technologist, a certified medical radiation technologist, or certified nuclear medicine technologist may not surrender the certificate and the certificate may not lapse by operation of law while the certified radiation oncology/therapy technologist, certified medical radiation technologist, or certified nuclear medicine technologist is under investigation or while charges are pending against the certified radiation oncology/therapy technologist, certified medical radiation technologist, or certified nuclear medicine technologist.
