Maryland Health - General Section 24-901

      (a)      In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.

      (b)      "HIV" means the human immunodeficiency virus that causes acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS).

      (c)      "Participant" means an individual who has registered with the Program.

      (d)      "Program" means the Prince George's County AIDS Prevention Sterile Needle and Syringe Exchange Program.

      (e)      "Residue" means the dried remains of a controlled dangerous substance attached to or contained within a hypodermic needle or syringe.
