Article - Education

§ 6-707.

      (a)      (1)      From among its members, the Board shall appoint a Review Board.

            (2)      The Review Board consists of 5 members which shall be composed of:

                  (i)      The State Superintendent;

                  (ii)      The local board of education member;

                  (iii)      2 of the public school teacher members; and

                  (iv)      1 of the teacher education faculty members.

            (3)      1 member of the Review Board shall be appointed to act as a liaison between the Board and the Review Board.

      (b)      (1)      The term of a member of the Review Board is 1 year.

            (2)      Upon the recommendation of the State Superintendent, a member of the Review Board may be reappointed once.

            (3)      The term of office shall be from September 1 of the calendar year in which the appointment is made.
