Maryland Courts and Judicial Proceedings Section 8-303

      (a)      If the defendants and the State agree, the drawing of a panel of at least 20 jurors in a criminal case may be dispensed with.

      (b)      If the parties agree, the drawing of a panel of at least 14 jurors in a civil action may be dispensed with.
