§ 8-204.

      (a)      Any State or local official who has custody, possession, or control of voter registration lists shall make the lists and records available to the jury commissioner or clerks for inspection and copying at any reasonable time.

      (b)      (1)      The Motor Vehicle Administration shall make available to the jury commissioner or clerks for inspection and copying at any reasonable time:

                  (i)      The list of individuals who are at least 18 years old and have been issued a driver's license by the Motor Vehicle Administration; and

                  (ii)      The list of individuals who are at least 18 years old and have been issued an identification card by the Motor Vehicle Administration.

            (2)      The lists described in this subsection shall be provided by the Motor Vehicle Administration to the jury commissioner or clerks without cost.

      (c)      The circuit court of a county upon application by the Attorney General, may compel compliance with this section.

** SPECIAL NOTE: EFFECTIVE - JANUARY 1, 2006 - CHAPTER 572 - 2005 **

      (a)      The State Administrator or the State Administrator's designee shall make the statewide voter registration list and voter registration records available to the jury commissioner or clerks for inspection and copying at any reasonable time.

      (b)      (1)      The Motor Vehicle Administration shall make available to the jury commissioner or clerks for inspection and copying at any reasonable time:

                  (i)      The list of individuals who are at least 18 years old and have been issued a driver's license by the Motor Vehicle Administration; and

                  (ii)      The list of individuals who are at least 18 years old and have been issued an identification card by the Motor Vehicle Administration.

            (2)      The lists described in this subsection shall be provided by the Motor Vehicle Administration to the jury commissioner or clerks without cost.

      (c)      The circuit court of a county upon application by the Attorney General, may compel compliance with this section.
