Maryland Courts and Judicial Proceedings Section 11-507

      The provisions of this subtitle relative to exemptions do not impair a:

            (1)      Vendor's purchase money lien on land;

            (2)      Mechanics' lien;

            (3)      Tax lien;

            (4)      Mortgage; deed of trust; or other security interest.
