Maryland Governor - Executive and Administrative Departments Section 18-405

      (a)      The Commission shall hire a staff director, subject to the approval of the Governor, and as provided in the State budget.

      (b)      The staff director, subject to the advice and consent of the chairman of the Commission, shall hire such additional staff as provided for in the State budget to perform such duties as are deemed appropriate by the Commission.

      (c)      The staff shall be responsible to the Secretary of Human Resources solely for routine administrative purposes.

      (d)      Members of the Commission may designate staff from their respective constituent agencies to assist the Commission.
