Article - Alcoholic Beverages

§ 8-507.1.

      (a)      This section applies only in Caroline County.

      (b)      There is a Class GC 7-day (golf course) beer, wine and liquor license.

      (c)      The license may be issued to a golf course or organization that:

            (1)      Is open to the public;

            (2)      Is operated for profit;

            (3)      Owns real estate in the county; and

            (4)      Has a golf course with a minimum of 18 holes.

      (d)      The annual license fee is $1,600.

      (e)      The licensee may sell beer, wine, and liquor for consumption only on the land and in the buildings, including the clubhouse, used for golfing purposes.

      (f)      A patron need not be seated to be served.

      (g)      The hours and days for sale for a Class GC 7-day (golf course) beer, wine and liquor license are as follows:

            (1)      Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. the following day; and

            (2)      Sunday from 1 p.m. to 12 midnight.
