Article - Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission

§ 5-301.

      (a)      In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.

      (b)      "Board" means the Prince George's County Planning Board or the Montgomery County Planning Board of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission.

      (c)      "Fund" means:

            (1)      In Prince George's County, the Prince George's County Historic Property Grant Fund; and

            (2)      In Montgomery County, the Montgomery County Historic Preservation Grant Fund.

      (d)      "Historic property" means a district, site, building, structure, or object significant in the history, upland and underwater archaeology, architecture, engineering, and culture of the State, including remains related to a district, site, building, structure, or object.

      (e)      "Preservation" means the identification, evaluation, recordation, documentation, acquisition, protection, management, rehabilitation, restoration, stabilization, maintenance, and reconstruction of an historic property.

      (f)      "Program" means:

            (1)      In Prince George's County, the Prince George's County Historic Property Grant Program; and

            (2)      In Montgomery County, the Montgomery County Historic Preservation Grant Program.
