§958. Fees for protest and appropriation of penalties

For each protest of a bill or note, notifying parties, making a certificate thereof in due form and recording the proceedings, a notary public must receive $1.50. All penalties provided in section 957 accrue 1/2 to the State and 1/2 to the prosecutor.   [RR 2021, c. 1, Pt. B, §36 (COR).]
