§15112. Condemned vessels stamped

A boiler or pressure vessel condemned in this State must be stamped "XXX Me.," and the chief inspector must immediately be notified of the condemnation.   [PL 2013, c. 70, Pt. C, §27 (AMD).]

The stamp "XXX Me." placed on condemned boilers must be made across the registration mark or number of the boiler, or if the boiler has no registration mark or number, a stamp must be placed in the location of this mark as determined by the rules of the code.   [PL 1995, c. 560, Pt.
