§5-702. Priority of private guardian or conservator

A public guardian or conservator may not be appointed if the court determines that a suitable private guardian or conservator is available and willing to assume the responsibilities of a guardian or conservator. [2017, c. 402, Pt. A, §2 (NEW); 2017, c. 402, Pt. F, §1 (AFF).]
