12502. Youth camp fishing license

1. Issuance of youth camp fishing license. Upon application, the commissioner shall issue to a youth camp licensed under Title 22, section 2495 a youth camp fishing license that will permit any of the campers, under 16 years of age, to fish in the lake or pond adjacent to the main location of the youth camp. The fee for this permit is $75. Persons who fish under a youth camp fishing license, as provided in this subsection, are subject to this Part.

2. Penalties. The following penalties apply to violations of this section.

A. A person who violates the terms of a special privilege under this section commits a civil violation for which a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $500 may be adjudged. [2003, c. 655, Pt. B, 248 (NEW); 2003, c. 655, Pt. B, 422 (AFF).]

B. A person who violates the terms of a special privilege under this section after having been adjudicated as having committed 3 or more civil violations under this Part within the previous 5-year period commits a Class E crime. [2003, c. 655, Pt. B, 248 (NEW); 2003, c. 655, Pt. B, 422 (AFF).]

Each day a person violates the terms of a special privilege under this section is a separate offense.
