§1083. Application for examination; subjects; reexamination
The board may at its discretion recognize the results of an examination given by the National Board of Dental Examiners or an accredited clinical testing agency approved by the board in lieu of or in addition to the examination or examinations that it may require. The board may require as part of the examination a clinical demonstration of the candidate's skill in dentistry. An applicant who fails to pass the first examination to the satisfaction of the board is entitled to one reexamination. Applicants for licensure shall pay a fee set by the board for the examination.
