26 §1604. Displaced Homemakers Advisory Council
§1604. Displaced Homemakers Advisory Council
1. Membership. The Displaced Homemakers Advisory Council, established by Title 5, section 12004-I, subsection 54, and in this chapter called the "council," shall be composed of the following individuals:
A. The Commissioner of Labor or the commissioner's designee; and [1981, c. 168, §23 (AMD).]
B. Fifteen individuals who have experience with the problems of displaced homemakers entering, reentering or retraining for the paid workforce or starting a small business. The members are appointed by the Governor. The council shall elect its own chair. [1995, c. 153, §1 (AMD).]

2. Responsibility. The Displaced Homemakers Advisory Council shall advise the commissioner on formulating policies related to the administration of this chapter.
