§6791. Marine Worm Fund
1. Deposit of license revenues. Revenues from marine worm licenses must be paid into the Marine Worm Fund as follows:
A. Forty-three dollars from a marine worm digger's license; [2009, c. 213, Pt. G, §27 (NEW).]
B. Fifty-five dollars from a marine worm dealer's license; and [2009, c. 213, Pt. G, §27 (NEW).]
C. Twenty-two dollars from a supplemental marine worm dealer's license. [2009, c. 213, Pt. G, §27 (NEW).]
The fund must be maintained by the commissioner.

2. Purposes of fund. The commissioner may expend the money in the fund for research related to marine worms or the marine worm industry or for the restoration, development and conservation of the marine worm industry, including the development and maintenance of permanent or temporary facilities for those purposes.

3. Nonlapsing. The Marine Worm Fund shall not lapse.
