§2003. Definitions -- "producer," "export"

1. "Producer" as used in this chapter and unless context otherwise requires, means a producer with surplus lines authority duly licensed as such under this chapter.

2. To "export" means to place in an unauthorized insurer under this Surplus Lines Law insurance covering a subject of insurance resident, located or to be performed in Maine.
