§11502. Definitions

As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings. [1983, c. 422, §21 (NEW).]

1. Authority. "Authority" means the Maine Health and Higher Educational Facilities Authority, established under Title 22, section 2054.

2. Institution for higher education. "Institution for higher education" means any institution for post-secondary or higher education, as defined in Title 22, section 2053, subsection 4-B, the University of Maine System and, in addition, means any institution which awards an undergraduate or advanced degree.

3. Student loan corporation. "Student loan corporation" means any corporation established under section 11503.
