2005 Maine Code - §9006 — Installation standards


      1. Standards. The board shall, by rule, set uniform reasonable standards for the installation of manufactured homes, including, but not limited to, standards for foundations, supports, anchoring and underpinning of manufactured homes installed in this State.[1993, c. 642, §13 (amd).]
      2. Exemption. Manufactured housing which is manufactured, sold, installed or serviced in compliance with this chapter shall be exempt from all state or other political subdivision codes, standards or regulations which regulate the same matters.[1981, c. 152, § 8 (rpr).]
