2005 Maine Code - §1443 — Dealership interest; vested rights


    Notwithstanding any other provision of law, it is unlawful for the manufacturer, wholesaler or distributor, without due cause, to fail to renew a dealer agreement on terms then equally available to all its recreational vehicle dealers, to terminate a dealer agreement or to restrict the transfer of right under a dealer agreement unless the dealer receives fair and reasonable compensation for the value of the business. [1997, c. 427, §2 (new).]
