§1387. Issuance of license; appeal

RS 1387 - Issuance of license; appeal

A. Absent good cause, the department shall issue a license to an applicant if the applicant complies with the provisions of this Chapter and pays the costs of the investigation pursuant to R.S. 6:1385(G) and the initial licensee fee pursuant to R.S. 6:1385(A)(2) in an amount specified by the department.

B. An applicant may appeal a denial of its application pursuant to R.S. 6:1385, in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, not later than thirty days after the department notifies the applicant of the denial or the application is deemed denied.
