RS 11:587 - Death benefits of parents
§587. Death benefits of parents
If there is no surviving spouse and no minor children, a monthly pension of twenty-five percent of the average compensation of the deceased member shall be paid to the parent or parents of the deceased member, if they, or either of them, derived their main support from the member.
