§200. Promotion of a community-based system of care

It is hereby declared to be a function of the Department of Health and Hospitals to promote the establishment and administration of a community-based system of care, including but not limited to community behavioral health centers for persons with mental illness, persons with developmental disabilities, or both conditions as contemplated by the provisions of R.S. 40:2013. Behavioral health centers as used herein shall include guidance centers.
