§2499. Quarters, furniture, and stationery; police detail

The city of New Orleans shall provide suitable rooms, furniture, stationery, and other operating expenses for the municipal court of New Orleans, and the department of police of the city of New Orleans shall detail, subject to such rules as it may adopt, the necessary number of police officers to the court, to keep order and execute orders and decrees of the judges thereof.

The city of New Orleans shall provide suitable rooms, furniture, stationery, and other operating expenses for the Municipal and Traffic Court of New Orleans, and the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office, the city constable, or department of police of the city of New Orleans shall detail, subject to such rules as it may adopt, the necessary number of law enforcement officers to the court, to keep order and execute orders and decrees of the judges thereof.
