§100.116. Trust Fund disbursements

The board of trustees may authorize disbursements from the Trust Fund for the following exclusive purposes:

(1) To pay the employer portion of the costs to provide post-employment benefits to or for employees retired from agencies, departments, boards, and commissions of the state and the dependents of such retired employees eligible to participate in the office of group benefits programs established pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 12 of Title 42 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950.

(2) To acquire permitted investments.

(3) To pay reasonable administrative costs and expenses that the board of trustees incurs in performing its duties as trustee of the Trust Fund.
