§231.10. Support services under STEP

To the extent that appropriations are available, the secretary shall provide support services to facilitate movement of FITAP recipients toward self-sufficiency. The department shall inform participants of available supportive services as part of the initial family assessment and shall integrate the provision of any necessary supportive services to the Family Success Agreement developed and signed by the department and the participant. These supportive services include but are not limited to Medicaid, food stamps, child care, transportation, Louisiana Children's Health Insurance Program, earned income tax credit, and TANF-funded initiatives.
