RS 46:1422 — Operating without or in violation of license; injunctive relief
§1422. Operating without or in violation of license; injunctive relief
If any child care facility or child-placing agency operates without a valid license issued by the department, the department may file suit in the district court in the parish in which the facility is located for injunctive relief, including a temporary restraining order, to restrain the institution, society, agency, corporation, person or persons, or any other group operating the facility or agency from continuing the violation. The state health officer shall have exclusive authority over all matters involving the prevention or spread of communicable diseases within a child care facility or child-placing agency.
