§114.2. Attempting or aiding to obtain assistance fraudulently; penalties

Any person who obtains or attempts to obtain or aids and abets anyone to obtain assistance from the Department of Children and Family Services or the Department of Health and Hospitals by means of any false statement, misrepresentation, or other fraudulent device or violates the provisions of R.S. 46:114 shall be guilty of theft as provided by R.S. 14:67.
