CC 2792 — Mortgageability of rent charge.
Art. 2792. Mortgageability of rent charge.
The rent, charged, [rent charge] being inherent to the property burdened with it, is itself susceptible of being mortgaged, except when it has been gratuitously established, for the benefit of a third person, on condition that it should not be liable to seizure.
