§2396.  Grace period

If the private, nonprofit organization is unable to continue to provide the specified services due to the termination of their lease by the lessor or to natural disaster, they may be granted a period of grace of up to one year in order to reestablish their program.  During this period of grace the repayment formula as described in R.S. 46:2394, shall be suspended until such time as the program is reestablished.  If after the maximum one-year grace period the organization is unable to reestablish the program, the defaulting provisions of this Chapter, as outlined in R.S. 46:2395, will go into effect.
