§1225.  Termination of commission

A.  Except as provided in Subsection B, the commission shall terminate one hundred eighty days after approval of the management plan by the legislature as provided in R.S. 25:1224.

B.  The commission may be extended for a period of not more than six years beginning on the day of termination referred to in Subsection A if the legislature extends such period of time by adoption of a resolution to that effect.
