CHAPTER 23.  LOUISIANA GOVERNOR'S

MANSION COMMISSION

§1011. Establishment; purpose

The Louisiana Governor's Mansion Commission, hereinafter referred to as the commission, is hereby created and established as an agency of the state, for purposes of protection and enhancement of the governor's mansion, its contents, furnishings, and grounds.  The purpose of the commission is to ensure a continuum in the appearance, contents, furnishings, and surrounding areas of the governor's mansion consistent with the historical significance and importance of the governor's mansion.
