§2096.  Apprenticeship Standing Committee

A.  The state apprenticeship council shall act as an Apprenticeship Standing Committee to aid in formulating policies for the effective administration of apprenticeship programs upon request by the commission.

B.  The Apprenticeship Standing Committee shall establish standards and procedures for registration and de-registration of apprenticeship programs in conformity with established programs approved by the Bureau of Apprenticeship Training, United States Department of Labor, and for approval of apprenticeship agreements which in no case shall be lower than those prescribed by the Bureau of Apprenticeship Training, United States Department of Labor, or lower than approved national standards.
