§541. Destitute crippled persons over fifty
Parish governing authorities may provide annually in their budget for residents of their respective parishes, who are over fifty years of age, who are deformed or crippled from birth, who have never been convicted of any offense in the courts of this state, and who are in destitute and necessitous circumstances.
