CHAPTER 50.  LOUISIANA BLIND VENDORS

TRUST FUND

§2651.  Purpose

The purpose of this Chapter is to provide for the enhancement of programs for persons disabled through blindness by the establishment of a trust fund in the state treasury to be funded by monies received by the Department of Social Services through contractual arrangements with providers who place vending machines on state, federal, and other property.  The purpose of the Blind Vendors Trust Fund is to provide assistance to Louisiana citizens who are legally blind who participate in the Blind Enterprise Program established through the federal Randolph-Sheppard Act.
