§1993.  Definitions

For the purposes of this Chapter the following shall apply:

(1)  The term "displaced homemaker" means an individual who (a) has worked in the home for a substantial number of years providing unpaid household services for family members; (b) is not gainfully employed; (c) has difficulty in securing employment; and (d) was dependent on the income of another family member but is no longer supported by such income, or was dependent on federal assistance but is no longer eligible for such assistance and is presently not receiving such assistance or support.  

(2)  The term "office" means the office of women's services in the office of the governor.
