§1177.1.  Public Service Commission; Economics and Rate Analysis Division and Hearing Examiners Division Supplemental Fee Fund

A.  Funds received by the Public Service Commission in the form of supplemental fees as provided in R.S. 45:1177(D) shall be deposited immediately upon receipt into the state treasury.

B.  After compliance with the requirements of Article VII, Section 9(B) of the Constitution of Louisiana relative to the Bond Security and Redemption Fund, and prior to monies being placed in the state general fund, an amount equal to that deposited as required by Subsection A hereof shall be credited to a special fund hereby created in the state treasury to be known as the "Economics and Rate Analysis Division and Hearing Examiners Division Supplemental Fee Fund".  The monies in this fund shall be used solely as provided by Subsection C hereof and only in the amounts appropriated by the legislature.

C.  Monies in the Economics and Rate Analysis Division and Hearing Examiners Division Supplemental Fee Fund shall be used solely to fund the activities of the economics and rate analysis division and the hearing examiners division.
