§1224.  Leases without advertisement or bids

Notwithstanding any other provision of this Part to the contrary, in any parish with a population in excess of four hundred twenty-five thousand, the requirements for public bid and advertisement shall not apply to any lease of land of less than ten thousand square feet in size to which the lessor has title, custody, or possession, when the lease is between the lessor and the owner of the adjacent land.
