§241.  Mandated benefits

Service charges assessed to any patient pursuant to R.S. 22:239 shall be a mandated benefit of any insurance policy, insurance certificate, insurance arrangement or self-insurance which provides coverage to such patient, except that such charges shall not be payable by any insurer which is insolvent.
