§1354.  Notice of hearing

A.  The commissioner of insurance shall, not less than five days in advance, give notice to an insolvent domestic insurance company to be affected by the hearing of the time and place thereof and specifying the matters to be considered at the hearing in connection with such insolvency.

B.  In all other cases, the commissioner of insurance shall, not less than ten days in advance, give notice to each person to be affected by the hearing of the time and place thereof and specifying the matters to be considered at the hearing.  

C.  If under Subsection B of this Section, notice of a hearing would be required to be given to more than one hundred persons, in lieu of the notice provided for in such Subsection and for the purposes of Part XXVI,1 only, the commissioner of insurance may give notice of the hearing by publishing the notice in a daily newspaper in each of the congressional districts of the state at least once each week during the four weeks immediately preceding the week in which the hearing is to be held.  

Any such published notice shall state the time and place of the hearing and shall specify the matters to be considered thereat.
