§121.2. Additional surplus
The commissioner may require a domestic mutual insurer to have and maintain a greater amount of surplus than prescribed in R.S. 22:121 or 121.1, based upon the type, volume, and nature of insurance business transacted. The commissioner is authorized to promulgate such rules and regulations as he may deem necessary to carry out the provisions of this Section.
