§2198.3.  Sickle cell anemia clinics

The authority, through the Department of Health and Hospitals, shall establish a minimum of seven sickle cell anemia clinics which shall provide physicians or nurses to provide proper health care, counseling, hematologist services, and complete holistic care.  Each clinic shall develop a working rapport with the public health clinic and organize support groups within that parish and surrounding cluster parishes.
