§1300.198. Recovery of costs
A. The department may seek and receive voluntary monies from any sources, including federal funds, grants, and gifts which shall be expended for the purposes designated in this Part.
B. In the event that the secretary determines that the funds appropriated may not meet projected expenditure for the fiscal year, the secretary may:
(1) Adjust the maximum benefits provided in R.S. 40:1300.194(D).
(2) Adjust the income eligibility levels.
(3) Adjust the copayment level.
(4) Establish a period of open enrollment which shall be not less than thirty days and which shall include an enrollment period for those who become age eligible during the year. Any such changes shall be effective thirty days after notice of such adjustment is published in the state register.
