§1052.  Certificate to practice; registering; evidence

If the applicant successfully passes the examination provided in R.S. 37:1051, he shall receive from the board under its seal a certificate entitling him to practice optometry in this state.  This certificate or a renewal thereof shall be the only evidence of the right of a person to practice optometry.  

The certificate shall be registered in a record book to be kept by the board for that purpose.  A copy of the certificate certified by the secretary of the board shall be received as evidence in all the courts of this state.
