§950.  Pilot boats; ownership by pilots required

Every bar pilot shall be owner or part owner of at least one decked pilot boat of not less than fifty tons' burden, which shall be used and employed exclusively as a pilot boat.  Any bar pilot, not owning and employing a pilot boat as provided in this Section shall be suspended from his office by the board of examiners which shall report the matter to the governor; thereupon the governor may revoke the commission of the pilot.
