§2000.5.  Atchafalaya Basin Promotion and Research Board; duties

A.  The Atchafalaya Basin Promotion and Research Board is hereby created within the Atchafalaya Basin Program. The board shall be domiciled in Baton Rouge.

B.  The duties of the board shall include:

(1)  Advise the secretary relating to the program.

(2)  Advise the secretary on who receives grants for research and education activities consistent with the duties and purposes of the program.

C.  The board may promulgate rules in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act in order to carry out its duties.
