§407.3.  Louisiana HIPPY Advisory Board; responsibilities; membership; appointment

A.  There shall be established a Louisiana HIPPY Advisory Board, hereinafter referred to as the "board", which shall consist of ten members and which shall assist in developing standards for funding qualified HIPPY programs and public awareness for such programs and shall provide consultation and guidance to the HIPPY coordinator and the department.  

B.  Members of the board shall be appointed by the governor in consultation with the HIPPY coordinator, the National Council of Jewish Women, and representatives of presently operating HIPPY programs.  

C.  Board membership shall reflect representation of geographic diversity, professional, business, and community leaders, and consumer volunteers.
