§85.2.  Naming of football stadium by certain school boards

Notwithstanding R.S. 14:316 or any other law to the contrary, a city school board in a city having a population between thirteen thousand three hundred and thirteen thousand seven hundred persons according to the most recent federal decennial census may name a football stadium at a high school in the city in honor of a former coach who meets all of the following criteria:

(1)  He coached at the high school where the stadium is located prior to 1990.

(2)  He began serving as principal of a high school in the parish in which the stadium is located prior to 1990.

(3)  He was inducted into the Louisiana High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame not later than 1990.
