§2358.4.  Licensing; fees; renewal

A.  No person shall breed, hatch, propagate, raise, grow, receive, ship, transport, export, or sell pet turtles or pet turtle eggs without possessing a pet turtle farmer license.

B.  Pet turtle farmer licenses shall expire annually on the thirty-first day of December, and must be renewed no later than the last day of January of the following year.

C.  The commissioner shall adopt, by rule in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, the fee to be charged for the issuance of a pet turtle farmer license.  The amount of the fee shall be based upon the cost of the services provided.  The amount of the fee shall not exceed two hundred fifty dollars per license issued or renewed.
