PART X.  REGULATION OF PET TURTLES

§2358.1.  Legislative findings

The purpose of this Part is to prevent the introduction into and dissemination within this state of contagious and infectious diseases of pet turtles by providing for the regulation, inspection, and control of pet turtles, which activities are hereby found and declared by the legislature to promote agriculture and aquaculture within the state of Louisiana.
